Our Next Meeting: Our next meeting will be Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 7:00 at Wheatfield Park on Menifee Road. Remember to bring any items from our Care Package List to this meeting so we can put together the packages to go with our hats and socks to Afghanistan. Newcomers are always welcome. See you there.

Knit Hats: There is a women's group in San Diego that started making knit hats to send to our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq to keep them warm during the very cold nights. The goal of 1,000 hats to be sent in October has already been met. Now we are making socks. If anyone is interested in helping in this effort, the yarn and the looms (with easy instructions) can be purchased at Joanne's or Michael's in Temecula. It has to be an extra heavy yarn. Thanks in advance.
Members: Remember the deadline for turning in articles for our newsletter is the 24th of each month.
Don't forget to bring your pennies to each meeting to add to our "Pennies for a Purpose" jar.

Welcome to the Lake Menifee Women's Club
This year our theme is "Women joined together today...Believing in our future tomorrows". With the support of our entire membership, we have accomplished a lot over the years and continue to help the City of Menifee as needed with wonderful community events, make charitable donations to worthy causes, and enjoy the friendships we have cultivated.
